About the Role
As a Service Owner you will support banking and fianance products and complex customer requirements. You will work collaboratively with System Architects & Product Managers , Technology Architects and the Platform & Services function to create the Service Design.
You will be responsible for delivering a particular service within the agreed service levels, as also you wil be accountable for the overall design, performance, integration, improvement, and management of the particular service
Typically, you will be acting as the counterpart of the Service Level Manager when negotiating Operational Level Agreements (OLAs). Often, you will lead a team of technical specialists or an internal support unit.
Represents the service across the organization
Manages the risk of operating the service
Designates technical lead
Coordinates communication among support staff and systems staff
Provides input in service attributes such as performance, availability, security, etc.)
Understands the service (components, etc.)
Serves as the point of escalation (notification) for major incidents
Ensures that any changes to the service under their care follows the current change management work practice
Participates in external service review meetings (with the business)
Is responsible for ensuring that the service entry in the Service Portfolio/Catalog is accurate and is maintained
Participates in negotiating Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Operational Level Agreements (OLAs) for the service
Ensures that performance meets the requirements of SLAs and OLAs
Provides reporting and metrics on performance of service
Degree in higher education in a field related to the provision of information or banking services
Experience in the design and operation of complex information systems
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with customers and suppliers - team spirit
Familiarity with modern information and communication technologies
Project Management skills and familiarity with relevant methodologies / techniques.
Familiarity with Information Security principles
Excellent knowledge of English language (verbal and written)
Excellent knowledge of operating Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Fluent in speech and communication in written and oral form
Feeling responsible for managing sensitive information
Fulfilled military obligations (for men)
Nice to have
Experience in banking operations and operations as well as banking IT applications
Experience in using ticketing software systems
Training in IT service management and the requirements of ISO 20000
